About
I am a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner with over 15 years of nursing experience in pediatric intensive care, pediatric continence, and Children’s Advocacy Centers. Throughout these experiences, I developed a deep passion for caring for children with complex medical, developmental, emotional, and behavioral needs, inspiring me to pursue an integrative, developmentally informed approach to care.
I believe children thrive when we understand the whole child, not just individual symptoms or diagnoses. Meaningful progress begins when children and caregivers feel seen, heard, safe, and supported, and even brief moments of genuine connection can have a lasting impact.
Approach & Specialties
My approach to pediatric continence care is compassionate, collaborative, and evidence based. I recognize that continence challenges can affect a child’s confidence, emotional well-being, and daily life. I partner with families to identify the factors contributing to their child’s symptoms and develop individualized treatment plans that promote long-term success and confidence.
Throughout my career, I have worked with children with diverse developmental, physical, emotional, and behavioral needs, including those with histories of developmental trauma, adversity, and chronic stress. These experiences led me to pursue Phase I Certification in the Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics™ (NMT ™). Through Regulation & Resilience Consultations, I utilize principles from NMT ™ to integrate a child’s developmental history, strengths, and current functioning, providing meaningful insight into behavior, emotions, learning, relationships, and overall well-being.
Together, we develop practical, individualized recommendations that support regulation, relationships, and healthy development. My goal is to work alongside families to better understand each child’s unique strengths and individual needs, so families feel empowered, supported, and confident in the path forward.
